In order to get a fuel pressure reading on a Duramax, you will require an aftermarket lift pump. Some lift pumps have ports on the side that allow sensors to be installed directly into them. However, if your aftermarket lift pump does not offer a port like that then&#xA0;<a href="https://www.maxtow.com/diesel-fuel-pressure-thread-adapter-for-chevrolet-gm-duramax-6-6l/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The GM Duramax 6.6L Fuel Pressure Adapter</a>&#xA0;will allow you to install your sensor into the factory fuel filter housing for an accurate pressure reading.
